Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi(KEZAD) is an integrated industrial and logistics hub that includes both free zone and non-free zone areas. It is located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. KEZAD plays a vital role in the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, which aims to diversify and strengthen the Emirate’s economy. Established by Abu Dhabi Ports, KIZAD’s mission is to create a world-class industrial hub that attracts global investments and drives economic growth. The KEZAD Group now spans an expansive 550 square kilometers, integrating 12 economic zones into a massive industrial ecosystem.
KIZAD provides companies with an ideal environment to grow their business in multiple industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and trading services. Eligible businesses may benefit from 0% Corporate Tax on Qualifying Income, provided they maintain adequate substance and meet FTA requirements.
‘A’ Region
This area is more focused on businesses in the industrial sector. Area A provides a variety of real estate opportunities while also serving the needs of employees, clients, and visitors.
‘B’ Region
Heavy and light industries, logistics industries, retail stores, commercial complexes, and numerous residential developments can be found in Area B.

The KIZAD Industrial Zone provides a variety of services. They are as follows:
Commercial Districts

Leasing of Land

Warehouses

Miniature Industrial Units

- Limited Liability Company in a Free Zone FZ-LLC
- A foreign/UAE company's branch
Aside from the aforementioned, the KIZAD Industrial Zone offers three different types of licences. They are as follows:
Industrial Permit
The Industrial License permits the import of raw materials, manufacturing/processing, and the export of finished goods.
Trading / General Trading Permit
This licence will allow you to trade, import, and export goods. The distinction between a trading licence and a general trading licence is that the former allows the trade of goods that are normal or general, whereas a Trading License deals with specific items, and a General Trading License permits a broader range of goods across multiple categories.
