Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD) is a free zone located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is an important part of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, which seeks to diversify and strengthen the Emirate’s economy. KIZAD was established by Abu Dhabi Ports, with a mission to create a world-class industrial hub that would attract global investments and help drive economic growth. The free zone spans over 140 square kilometers, making it one of the largest industrial zones in the Middle East region.

‘A’ Region

‘B’ Region

Industrial Permit
The majority of businesses in the KIZAD Industrial Zone operate under an industrial licence. This licence allows the holder to import and export machinery, as well as assemble and package the machinery.
Trading / General Trading Permit
This licence will allow you to trade, import, and export goods. The distinction between a trading licence and a general trading licence is that the former allows the trade of goods that are normal or general, whereas the latter deals with specific items as specified in the licence.
